So apparently I should stick to single panel illustrations. I had to push myself to get this one done in two days. This is for the word of the day on September 4th.

This is yesterday's Word of the Day, but I did not scan this until today ... sorry. Once again, this is obviously not a finished piece. I am just trying to get into the habit of drawing a little bit everyday.

foofaraw: excessive or flashy ornamentation; also, a fuss over a trivial matter.

Koi fish were originally bred for their beautiful colours and patterning, and are now highly valued throughout the West and most of Asia. They are shown in competitions and kept as pond fish to beautify the home.
This painting was originally made for Inspire Me Thursday but I was checking the Words of the Day and I thought it kind of fit this definition. Enjoy.
